    And to me, this is not pretty at all, because it is too much. It is more okey with one tree in the garden, that is nice. And the electric-bill will be normal smiley But this is my opinion.

    back home in Vacaville , California they have a street called " Candy Cane Lane " cause everyone on the street decks out there houses.. they even play santa  during the nights before Christmas.... it is so cool. i'll see if I can search and find something on it.

    For me most of those decorations seem too much. I like christmas lights and in my home we have them all year long in the apartment because they are really pretty. But I'll never forget the movie National Lampoons Christmas vacation, I always thought there was too much effort and too little prettiness!

    Imagine an aline stops by and look at those decorations. What whould he think? Would he want to disappear immediatelly or stay any longer? Interesting pictures by the way, please keep going.

    I prefer 'less is more'  but I like the effort people put into that. I would never do that, first) the costs for it and second, I am in no Christmas mood at all. And outside it has like 15 degress.  laugh_out_loud

    A family from San Antonio, Texas, have dwarfed all competition with their Christmas light display this year.

    The Johnson family's epic light show is set to a dubstep mash-up, lasts for a whopping 11 minutes and uses 6,181 Pixels along with up to 500 individual Christmas lights.

    All the bright flashing and loud music would probably make them the world's most annoying neighbours if it wasn't all for a good cause. The Johnsons hope to use the show to raise $10,000 for Living Water International, which is helping to bring clean water to everyone in the Central African Republic.

    I would still hate to have to listen every night to them...lol

    I've never heard about the Christmas light display competition before, and at first I wasn't sure what to think of it. But since there is a noble cause for which they were doing this, I guess it's good. One thing is sure, I wouldn't want them as my neighbors. cheesy
