Guy fakes his death in a bizarre marriage proposal



In Omsk, Russia a girl receives a marriage proposal she will never forget.

Irena Kolokov went to meet her boyfriend, Alexey Bykov, 30, and found him in what appeared to be a horrible car accident.

"When I saw Alexey covered in blood lying in the road, a paramedic told me he was dead, and I just broke down in tears," she said.

Bykov's lifeless body was loaded in ambulance. He suddenly pops up from the stretcher and comes behind her, laughing and holding a bouquet of flowers and a single golden mylar balloon.

She was so distraught that when he approached her she shoved him off while crying uncontrollably.

Even when the sparklers went off in the background, Kolokov still had no clue that she'd been had.

Did she accept his marriage proposal? Yes she did and today they are married. It puts a whole new light on "death do us part". 

Do you think this is going too far? If he would pull this kind of cruel stunt what else is he capable of?

What a jerk.  She's got many more years of the same stuff to look forward to.  I hope he's worth it!

How the hell is that romantic? Seriously, I felt sick when I read it. Maybe some sort of inside joke between them? Definitely wouldn't work for me.

          OMG!!! You can't make this s*** up!  Man!, they must have a weird sense of humor.  I would need a whole lot of therapy after a stunt like that.    "Just kidding Irena,  see,  I'm not dead,  let's get married, Da? ----Nyet!!!      Hell,  I took my wife to Naples for a weekend and proposed over a nice dinner at an expensive restaurant.  Oy!!  kids these days........don't get me started.....

Hahaha yup the old fashion way is the only way to do it bongo! I personally would think twice before marrying this looney toons. But apparently she got over it quick with that big smile on her face. I think she is in for a lot more antics by this cruel joker.

What a horrible prank.  I don't think this marriage will last too long.

Maybe as Froggy said, that could be something between them. I really don't understand why would she say Yes otherwise.

Well, this isn't quite as horrible as the couple who bit off each other's finger tip to seal the deal.

or was that a hoax?  I forget...  but there were pictures and instructions on how they did it. ick.
