Boy Gets the Finger……..in his Sandwich?

A Michigan teenager ordered a junior roast beef sandwich at the fast food chain Arby’s and made a startling discovery.

Ryan Hart had all but finished his sandwich when he bit into something chewy that tasted like rubber and spit it out. What he found was a fleshy pad of an employee’s finger.

Seems an employee working at Arby’s cut her finger on the meat slicer and left immediately without telling anyone and co-workers continued to fill the orders unaware of what had just happened.

Ryan’s mother, Jamie Vail went to the drive-thru with friend Joe Wheaton and her other son 11, and thought her son was joking when he exclaimed he found a piece of a finger in his roast beef.

"Somebody loses a finger, and you keep sending food out the window? I can't believe that," said Vail. She and Wheaton said the severed section was about an eighth to a quarter-inch thick and at least one inch long.

Vail said she called 911 and met police at a local hospital, where her son's blood was drawn and he was prescribed some medication.

Ryan said he is feeling fine. His mother has been in contact with a lawyer, but has not decided what course to take.

OMG that is sick! I have found things in my food like spiders in salad, grasshoppers in artichokes, curly hairs in my pizza. Ya know I can't believe I eat out at all. You never know what lurks that you can't see. What may be gross to me may not be gross to someone else. Like scratching your head and then continuing to form meatballs is nasty nasty nasty.

I must have eaten all sorts of strange stuff because I don't really take a close look at what I'm eating. Hope I didn't eat any fingers though

That is just too gross to think about!  amp; One thing I am happy about though... I have never liked Arby's and won't eat there... IMHO everything there tastes much like that finger must have tasted to that poor boy!

Ugh how revolting!

I did have a metal bag tie in my sprouts once, a pip in some cherry jam and of course hairs...too numerous to mention them all.  Once I find something in my food that shouldn't be there, I just can't eat it.   Thank heavens I haven't come across a finger yet!

I did hear about someone who bought some frozen sliced beef and it turned out to be a frozen mouse in the box along with the beef and it was a famous company too!

That is really disgusting... I'm feel sick just by reading this topic. I don't like to eat and it will turn out to be good. Don't know why but ever since I can remember I watch every bite when I eat - checking the food from every angle. 

wow, that is one unpleasant thing to find in a roast beef sandwich, that was disgraceful, they should have stopped putting food out of the window as soon as they knew what had happened. they are serving food for heavens sake lol.

i hope it doesn't affect that teenager when he grows up and he doesn't have flashbacks of it every time he eats fingers crossed for him that he will be ok

It is hysterical! I noticed it too and thought what blueday wrote! And that is pretty funny too... 2 minds with one thought!
