Hi LCB’ers,
Being a prostitute can be a dangerous life. Transmitting diseases is one major problem. Not to mention the jeopardy a prostitute is put in every time they climb in someone’s car.
In Nevada where prostitution is legal…..girls are protected and screened for sexually transmitted diseases. As well as being kept safe from harms way.
Prostitution is a lucrative business. With having restraints on law restrictions, the prostitute has little rights. Men who seek a cheap thrill run the risk of getting busted and in some areas their name plastered in the local paper.
Is prostitution immoral or should it be legalized?

I might agree that its legalization has some advantages...But generally I'm against! I think with the legalization the "phenomenon" will start spreading! Very quickly! I think the same about drugs...It's just the same question...There also will be some positive moments...for example, there won't be any suspicious mixture, only qualitative product! lol
And what will we get!?!? The drugs/girls will be sold in each corner...
The number of "buyers" will increase, as well! They will know that it's legal and safe as the girls take regular tests...
Of course, the government should control the situation somehow...but I don't think that legalization is a good solution!

I say legalize it.
When I think about my ex wife, which is a horrible mental exercise admittedly, and do the "math" how what it cost PER time....hmmmmm.....I could have had some high grade, first rate, movie star quality nookie! With cash left over!
But...to think it would generate enough tax revenue to even put a tiny dent in the HUGE Obama deficit is wishful thinking! -

Maybe the real answers lays in educating women. Teach them that their bodies should never be put up to the highest bidder. This is something that has never been instilled from an early age.
For many....its a means to feed their habit. Instead of legalizing it, perhaps we should look a little deeper and resolve the reasons why a woman would sell their bodies.
Prostitution is the only way out for most girls that turn to it. Lets get them in rehab or offer an education for a decent paycheck to get them off the streets instead of condemning them in the first place.

Massage??? I thought we were talking about prostitution.........being that I am trying to become a massage therapist myself, we do get that kind of association alot and I don't agree with it one bit! If you go to a professional massage therepist, there is NOTHING sexual about it!!!

I'd call it what it is......prostitution!!! Paying for any kind of sexual gradification would be a form of prostitution....not massage, and I only stress this subject because I get alot of unappropiate comments from people when I mention what I go to school for and frankly I don't find those comments amusing..............................

Satans......out of respect of your profession, I shall find another name for my shameful diversion. Hey.....maybe that is what I will call it!!!! Shameful diversion.
Bottom line, my life is hard, and I need the occaisional escape....thrilled to pay for it! I can keep the TV on, I don't have to pay for dinner, don't have to go shopping, and I don't have to meet someone's parents! And I have found no instances of STD from a happy ending
