  • I have noticed some stories posted on Facebook that are about people winning big at online casinos. The first story I read was about  a man who won hundreds of thousands or it could have been millions (cant recall) and then he left his wife and child once the money was deposited into his account. Then the second one was similar having won millions from a free $20 no deposit bonus from the same casino. Of course thats when I realised that they were fake stories aimed at promoting the casinos no deposit bonus. I dont like this using fake stories to win over members. Strange stories too but it does get you to read the stories and yeah think if they can do it and win then why cant I. I dont know what does everyone else think?

  • It is internet era dude, everybody lies nowdays. Every promotion on facebook, google adds etc has a lie in it. Start with your local caffes. I've saw like some kind of promotion in my area, went to that exact caffe with my buddies and they were like we don't have clue what are you talking about. Forum like LCB, or even reddit are good places to read what is actually a true about whatever you are looking for.

  • I totally agree with Milaneli.  “Believe none of what you hear, and only half of what you see.” Benjamin Franklin.

It is certainly true of things on the internet and also when you buy items in a store.  Bait and switch ads come to mind...buy 2 pair of glasses for $69.99.  Nice, but it doesn't include so many things people want in their eye glasses.  Or they offer a huge deal on an appliance and when you go to the store they are out.  (They probably only had 3 of them at that price.)

But you have to admit it keeps us on our toes and makes life interesting. If it's too good to be true, then it probably is.

  • Yea, I used to believe a picture was evidence. Now with PhotoShop, every picture can be a fake.

  • Well, back in '50s and '60s, smoking used to be good for our health. wink It's important to remain skeptical I guess. It's a very simple rule for me.
