Check those credits...

....I sat down last week at a slot machine. I was waiting for Midnight to roll around for my free money. As I sat there, I casually looked at the credits in the game in front of me. Do you know there was money left in that machine?  Now granted it was less than a dollar, but I have also had experiences when people have completely left the game, forgot to hit the cashout button and went on their merry way. The most I have found was a ticket for $95. Lets face it folks, people are drinking and not all of them stay sober.  They forget to cash out. Sometimes they cash out and actually leave the ticket hanging there to be taken, and they still forget it.  These games can be confusing to alot of people. Always check the credits when walking by a machine. You'd be surprised to find alot of them have money left in them.

Just a quick reminder...Always make sure you are not the one leaving anything behind. Hit the cashout button...grab that cash out voucher,and dont leave anything behind.

I remember one time going to the casino with my mom..She had a 400.00 voucher in the machine. She cashed it out and forgot to pull the ticket out of the slot.She was sooo sick and so was i cuz she would give me gamblin money if she won and i was broke...and that day i was broke in no time.

Oh Lips...that is a horrible story and I am sorry for that. It stinks too, cause you go back to that machine, and you know that the money is going to be gone. I dont think there is anything security would do for you. They would say to bad so sad.
So lets all be sure we grab that cashout voucher after we hit the cash out button. Forgetting it does happen to the best of us.                        PMM2008

Oh yeah that money was gone....and ya know the funny thing about? This was a hot row of machines. I don't think more than a few minutes went by when we went back hoping to retrieve it. It was gone and ironically not a soul was sitting at that machine!
Nothng like taking ur money and running.

I have an interesting story about that:

A friend I know would cash out her money here and there.  She would hold the vouchers til she ran out of money and then cash them all in together.

Well, she was sitting at a machine playing and really didnt pay much notice when a man sat down next to her and then bent down to pick something off the floor.  She just figured he dropped something.  He then left.  Not too much later she was gathering her vouchers to cash in and noticed she was missing one for like 90 bucks.  Then she remembered the man who sat next to her.

She quickly went to security to see if she could do something about it.  Well, luckily she was using her players club card.  They looked at her account saw she was telling truth.  They also saw the voucher was being played on a machine somewhere else in the casino.  They went to the machine and there was the man.  Of course, it was denial denial denial but they said they had checked computer and knew he was lying.  They made him cashout and give it to her.  Luckily he had only lost ten bucks of it, they couldn't do anything about that, but she got the rest of her money.  Wooo hooooo!!

Lesson #1:  Use your players card

Lesson #2:  Don't be afraid to be vocal and complain - you might get your money back

That is incredible Looney. I had NO idea they could track those tickets like that.But of course I should know that the casino keeps track of everything.  That gives hopes that if it happens to any one of us we could ask for securitys help.  I learn something new each and every day here.
