      Hi Gang:
          I was at the local Walmart the other day and I see the Salvation Army with their bells and buckets are out in full swing looking for holiday donations. They stand out there in all types of weather and I applaud them.

    Do you plan on giving to a Christmas charity this year?

    I give to Salvation Army through out the season as well as what is called the Sharing Tree. You find a tree full of small tags and choose one or two with a despcription of the person and what they may need or want for Christmas. Could be a child, could be an adult. Never really mattered to me.  You go out and buy the item, and return it to the place indicated, then that person is called to pick up their gift closer to Christmas.  It's a wonderful idea and I enjoy it as much as the recipiant of the gift, I am sure , each year.  wink!!!

            It is better to give than receive....ecspecially this time of year.... smiley smiley

    You are an ANGEL for giving to the Salvation Army!  One of the best organizations ever! 

    Over the years the kids and I have really cut back on buy stuff for ourselves and give way more to charities.  Most Americans have too much crap.
