    Grrrrr...I spilled my coffee over my laptop, I have it working now and I had to disable the keyboard (And mouse) and get a seperate mouse and keyboard.

    So if I'm not around much, you all know why.

    Still unemplopyed (But at least my name and standing are good for other employers) so the world is not so bad.

    On the bright side, I have applied for a couple of positions which I REALLY would enjoy (Kennel help) and even if they are part time, the UI will make up the difference.

    Take care folks, I'll be around now and then.

    Another that doesn't mix with computers is pop. OMG it's a sticky mess. At least you can still use your laptop in some capacity. Good luck on the job search.

    Ahhh i hate when that happens. I once spilled a vodka lemonade over my entire keyboard and learned quick it doesn't swim! But i took a blow dryer on a setting with no heat and after about an hour it worked again so i was lucky.

    Hope your job hunting works out well especially at a kennel. Would love to hear all the adorable animal stories.

    Keyboards, believe it or not, can be placed in your dishwasher.  No soap.  It will clean off the sticky gunk.  Let it dry. 

    Worked for my sister even though I didn't believe it either.

    OMG.  I didn't do it, so I don't have to feel so bad, but a whole glass of iced tea got spilled all over my laptop.

    Luckily, it was shut at the time so the "lid" got most of the spill.  A little  bit got into the inside, but so far, all systems are still go. 

    Y'all be careful, this thread might be contagious!
