Death, where is thy sting??

So I leave school Thursday having finished month end finals (89% on test) and so I come home only to realize, I had left keys at home (I can start car without keys BTW) and so I tried calling my roommate, no answer, but the window was left open, so I remove screen and climb in.

Get in and drop from ledge on window. Land on left leg, it collapses and so I roll forward and arm is out and catches arm on couch nearby..CRUNCH Couch now is a one armed couch. At the same time I hit couch, left cheek (Butt) hit floor and that's when I remember putting my phone with wallet into left pocket of school uniform.

To say it hurt, is obvious...To say it hurt ALOT is correct and it did hurt ALOT!

SIghing, knowing not how my roommate will act about couch, I get my schoolbooks in and then settle myself by making a pot of coffee...Oh damn, forgot creamer again...Grab the syrup for sweetener and make coffee..Soon pot is half full, go to get cup, replace carafe...Top part of coffeemaker comes out (This is a Rival and I'll toss it later) and splashes VERY hot coffee AND coffeegrounds on hand....Owwwwwiieeeee!!!!

Wash hand, get wipe away towel and clean up mess.....

Roommate comes home, I confess to damage, he laughs and we agree to $50 for damage. He likes me as a renter as I am quiet and pay up quickly.....

I lay down for short nap, forget to set alarm and wake up at 11:45 PM..."Oh great" I thought then got up. Feet hit floor and (crack) then reading glasses I use alot...I look down to see that I hit it right at the bridge of them..So one left and one right..I may glue them together later.

So, as I laid back down (after going outside for smoke and later glass of water) I think  "Death, you ain't got NOTHING on Murphy's law so screw the sting!!!"

What a chain of events Genenco.  Sorry - but it did make me chuckle. 

I hope your leg, arm and hand are ok and you get your glasses fixed.

Oh gene, that is quite a day you had there. I hope it got better as the day went on.

It did make me laugh too

Genenco lol.. i love how you just stay so humble with all the troubles.. in your own misery of clutziness and mayhem.. you got me giggling..

Things will get better.. i get like this when i am just tired.
