Do you believe in coolers?

          Okay,  I know a lot of you are probably rolling your eyes and snickering at the thought of this but I would swear there is something to this.    I have seen too many examples.  I want to hear some stories.  I  have been on a tear before,  just whippin' ass on bonus rounds, etc. (online that is)  and my wife would walk in the room  and  it's like you hear the world's loudest record scratch (yes like in the movies)  and then I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a bat   I can't explain it but I know when it happens.

I'm not rolling my eyes and I'm not snickering either.  It usually happens to me when the phone rings and I walk away from the computer.  Come back after the call is ended and my nice winning streak is ended and you can hear the tumbleweed rolling across the ground afterwards.

I know just what u mean ill play at a table an be on a roll then next thing I know my friend will join me and my streak is out the window. I sometimes think I put it in my head that ok without anyone and lose my luck when they join. I'm just too superstitious that way!

It happens all the time to me, even if I just make a short break, to drink water or grab a bite. It has happened way too often and I stopped doing that because when I'm back everything goes downhill from there. It's interesting, it never goes the other way around, only for the worst. So, when I start playing I also don't like to be interrupted and I don't like to change anything. I eat, drink before. I only have my cell phone next to me, because even if I have to talk, I don't have to stop spinning. Everything depends on how lucky I am, sometimes I'm penniless in a few minutes. 

              We have a land based casino here in Tampa,  the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino.  Anyway,  I noticed that if I am in a hurry and have to be somewhere else,  that's when ironically  I start to get lucky  but---- if my cell phone rings  ---- Forget About It !  Everything turns South quick.    It's really kinda' spooky.  I think Markotik,  you're on to something about the interruptions,  it breaks the rhythm or something. 

Interesting topic. I've been called a cooler myself . I've walked away from an online slot and my luck has disappeared or someone entered the room and ruined it all. It's really something how that happens but I believe it can. Land based casinos drive me crazy when someone sits next to me. I just look over and know instantly that I don't like them and I start losing. I usually end up cashing out and moving on because I know I won't win with them sitting there.

LOL even lips has told me to get lost a time or two!

        It's funny you know,  when you're on a tear it's like everything has to stay the same....nothing can upset the balance;  and I mean nothing.  It's funny  but when somebody sits next to you that's like taboo if you're winning.
