    Getting ready to do my taxes. Looking for some new tax breaks. If anyone has any ideas would appreciate feed back. I am going to owe too much this year geesh.

    Oh don't ya just love tax time? I know people that opt to have their taxes done and pay the fee rather than do it themselves. They are then informed about all those little tricks and goodies.

    I just submit online and get it over with but then again mine are nice and simple.

    I actually loved it this year. Not that I am getting alot back (About $900) but I prefer to have copies..Even though I lose or misplace them anyway.

    Well, there I was, all ready to go, but the nearest copier was 5 miles away..Then I spotted it..Why it's my still working SCANNER!! I got it plugged in and in less then 10 min I had copied my tax form to a thumbdrive and then sent off the original.

    I now will do that every year. Easy to file and kepp!!

    We usually get a nice little chunk back(several thousand), but I just did a quick input of info and it looks like we will owe  shocked sick dizzy :'( worried :'$ surprise >:( frown thumbs_down :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(


    I have no idea what is different this year, but I hope I have made a mistake somewhere...

    I'm stuck owing because of the 1st time homeowners credit that has to be paid back.  And I can't pay them until they pay me back the $798 they collected that they shouldn't have.  Vicious circle!
