Drivers License Photo's

Hi Gang:
  I was just laughing out loud at some funny Driverse License pictures I found on line.
These folks look pretty halarious, and I can't imagine carrying around a pic of myself like that for years and years.

Does anyone actually take a good picture at the Dept of Motor vehicles?

Is anyone ever happy with their photo?

I have been carrying around the same pic for going on 5 yrs now and I tell you I have changed alot. My photo was actually a decent one and I refuse to get a new one taken as I like this one.

They have that new feature now where you can see the pic before you leave, and if it is really bad, you can get them to take another one.  THAT was a wonderful idea.
No more waiting 2 weeks to get it in the mail and discover your eyes were shut, or your mouth was open. I had one that I carried around and I looked like a corpse, as my eyes were shut.

Any funny stories out there?

Oh Lips....
    That is so awful, yet funny, as I know what you mean.  That one shot of me when I looked like a corpse, I had to show to places for ID and such. I could just see them smirk when I pulled it out, and try to hide their laughter.

God only knows what they did or said after I left.  lol I was sooooo embarrassed.

Do you still have these Photos Lips?  I find it hard to believe you could ever take a bad pic.

We have alot of ID's we need while working here, Health Cards, Sheriff cards, Tam Cards, and also Employee ID Badges all have our pictures on them... ALL mine suck.. and lastly when i went to go get my DL's i had the flu.. BUT that picture wasn't so bad.. i don't think it's us.. let's blame it on the camera lol

Well they never wait till you are ready, Just "toes behind the line, CLICK.

Heres another thing, if you just sat in the Dept of Motor vehicles and have to wait in that ridicoulous line to get your license, then pay  the fee, your expected to smile for a pic?  IMPOSSIBLE.

"Say cheeseeeeeeeee......." says the clerk

"Bite Me....."  PMM mumbles under her breath.....LOL

I've actually had really good luck with DL pics.
The last one I took I was 7 mos prego so I had that great hormonal glow.
And the one before that, my DMV appointment was schedueled after a friends birthday celebration so I had that great happy hour glow!

I should change my pic to my drivers license pic, just for the heck of it.....

INteresting about the "Cheese" thing I was told "Eyes open, please don't smile" Face recognition software having problems??


Reminds me of the story out of Readers Digest some years ago. One day the picture machine was down. "Don't worry" the people were told. "You'll get your license in 2 weeks" They sure did, with nobody in the PICTURE!!
