    I use yahoo email and wanted to know what others are using. I get a lot of spam mail. Don't know how the heck they getting my email address. Thinking about signing up with a new service and looking for some ideas.

    I use at&t yahoo, and yes, same spam issue.  I blame it on rogue affiliates.  I also use Windows Live Mail, which I guess is hotmail, because that's in the address.  Not so much spam there.  I did start getting some after joining another forum where my email address is listed in the profile.  Not much, though.  Also, after trying to unsubscribe to some unwanted affiliate spam newsletters, more of them started appearing.

    Good question liquorman. I have been using yahoo in like forever. I wonder if changing email services makes any difference.

    I think your right though chilly. The rogues have a lot to do with it.

    I have to agree with Chilly that I hardly ever get any spam mails in my hotmail account but get hundreds of junkie mails in my yahoo account.
    Here is another good reason to use windows live mail, Whenever I reported spam mails which wouldn't stop by just deleting numerously to yahoo, the problems didn't get resolved quickly and completely but  windows live hotmail did. wink

    I have hotmail, yahoo mail, google mail and my service provider email.  The least spam is the google mail for me (gmail).

    I've used a number of providers and spam is a nightmare with all BUT if you access your mail via Windows Mail there is virtually no spam. It's filtered and you may only view "junk" if you log into your account.
