The guy singing "come a little bit closer you're my kind of guy so big and so strong" all my male friends used to sing it... actually the verses are the singer was depicting what a female said to him.. but they'd sing it to each other just for fun.. like along the Las Vegas Strip... lmao

I have tried to listen to the song "against all odds" by phil collin when I was down and hoped to turn it around, lol.  Came up empty several times, lmao.

"I only have a couple dollars away, would you let me hit the bonus round now?, ...." Phil Collin.

Well, I can recall my puzzlement with "Bad moon rising" and why was there a "Bathroom on the right"??

Or about the kid with the foul smelling Father who walked too fast for the kid and was being told "Daddy do you want a bath?"

Daddy don't you walk so fast") <last part strung out so that's how I mis-heard it.

Or a classic, a Mother overheard "Surfing USA" and was impressed how Patrotic the Beach Boys were. She thought that they sang heard "Serving USA" instead.

Many years ago my younger sister and I argued about her confusing the lyrics to a song by The Main Ingredient whose lead singer is Cuba Gooding Sr.(yeah that Cuba Gooding),anyway the song was "Everybody plays the fool",it didnt help any that there was a part in the song where a flute was played, so my sister swore up and down that the song was,"Everybody plays the FLUTE"

RESPECT by Aretha Franklin.  , Everyone knows the R E S P E C T part, but no one knows what she is singing other than that. 

I remember Ellen  did a skit on that, it cracked my A** up.
