Extreme"driving lessons"

I don't have any video or pictures but I read the news that in Russia the police is investigating a video of an eight-year-old girl driving her dad's car while he urges her to go faster. The film was originally uploaded onto a local social networking website in St Petersburg by the schoolgirl's mother.

As other cars speed along the icy road with Anastasia peering over the wheel, dad Dima, 28, urges: "Come on, give it some more gas. Don't be afraid. At least 100 kph." The girl's father twice has to grab the steering wheel as Anstasia veers across the road. "Where are you going? Press the gas. Keep it straight I tell you," he says. At one point mum says: "Anastasia looks like she's in shock."
Anastasia and her father finally swap seats when they start to approach some busy town roads.


I also find a shocking video of a girl of 4 who's been filmed driving down a busy main road while her dad shouts instructions from the back seat.
The incredible footage, apparently shot by the girl's mother, shows her speeding along a four-lane motorway, calmly overtaking other cars as she goes.

I don't know what to think, those parents are obviously crazy. :S

Pretty crazy stuff.  I didn't get to drive until I was at least 14.  It was at night, I couldn't see.  I remember my dad telling me to stop at a telephone pole, and it was at least 1/4 mile past that before the car finally quit moving. 

I did take away one lesson and that's to look way ahead in the road, not right in front of the car, when trying to navigate.

But these parents are definitely just bored and looking for fun not realizing how horribly wrong it can all go in a heartbeat.

Putting a child in charge of a speeding piece of metal weighing at least a ton is beyond crazy.

How absolutely ridiculous.  I'm just lost for words over this.

I just can't over this - icy roads etc at 80 kph.  Big smile when the child got out of the car; probably relief it was over. These parents should be made to do a parenting course.  What else do they get their 8 year old to do?

I guess it's true what they say,just because you have a child it doesn't make you a parant...at least not a good one!!

Yes, this is just terrible parenting, no sense of responsibility whatsoever.
