The Exorcist scared the shnikies out of me.  I was a young child when I first saw it...as a result, I would get the eebie jeebies in the dark, lost a lot of sleep cuz of that friggin movie.

Nightmare on Elm Street:  a couple of the dream scenes in part 1 were filmed at John Burroughs Jr. High, where I attended.  I always thought that old school with its dark hallways was freaky.

The Shining
these twins gave me nightmares...hallways were never the same

scary!

I think the scarier the better.

Yes I liked it. The acting could have been a little better...but all in all I thought it was definately worth the $1.10 it cost me to rent it at RedBox!!
