    What kind of movies you like to watch during the winter holidays. Movies with specific Christmas theme, fairy tales, action, drama or some other?

    Favorite movies for me and my baby girl during  these holidays are fairy tales and Christmas themed movies.  wink

    I will have some time off and I'm going to watch some movies I've been planning to see for some time now. I'm probably going to see Silver Lining Playbook for the second time. I don't watch Christmas themed movies, only if I'm really bored and don't have anything else to do.

    My all time fav is "A Christmas Story", which TBS will be playing for 24 hours straight starting sometime today, I think.  I love that movie and watch it at least once every year.

    "Christmas in Connecticut" - an old movie starring Barbara Stanwyck - is another.

    Die Hard is usually 1 of my faves. It's not directly an xmas film but is set around xmas. I watch home alone too.

    What I hate is all those Hallmark channel xmas films. They are the same old... Super hot girl with her face coated in makeup wants super hot guy. They have weak storylines and are nothing to do with the actual spirit of xmas
