For US players, Please read and sign petition to repeal UIGEA

Want to do something about processor options disappearing for US players? I have started a petition on-line to repeal the UIGEA it can be found here http://wh.gov/EgsY or here https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pet...-2006/mFNp06lW. It needs 150 signatures before it can be seen by the general public and needs 25,000 by mid February to be responded to by the White House. I read a lot of complaints on here about this issue so I decided to do something and this was all I could figure to do. It probably will not force the hand of our government but it will let them know that we would like this issue addressed. Please sign it and distribute the URLs to anybody you can think of. Forget it.  If the Federal Government gets involved it will be worse.  There will be tax implications, and credit cards will consider deposits cash advances as is the case at land based casinos.  If you use the ATM to get cash to play with on a "credit card" it will be considered a cash advance. 

There is no possible way the Federal Government can manage online gambling they and the banks can't even regulate online gambling under the UIGEA as it is.

They would have to pass a law making online gambling legal and then lt up to the players to claim their winnings/losses against winnings as they do skill-game sites at the present time. 

This is only a petition to repeal a current provision which a lot of representatives were not happy about how it was forced down their throats.  It was attached to the SAFE Ports Act at the last minute by two legislators that have since been voted out of office.  The banks don't like it because it forces them to research and identify gambling processors.  Anyone who was against it was threatened to be labled as unpatriotic or not being tough on terror.  I remember how it was in the days before the UIGEA, sometimes you were charged as a cash advance and sometimes not, but the banks still made money from it.  The Federal Government has no jurisdiction concerning any type of gambling whatsoever, just like the drinking age and prostitution, it is a power reserved for the individual States.
