    There's a church (Not USA) which has 2 clocks with different times. This is to confuse the Devil as to when you are to be buried or such..Interesting.

    There was one that was said to me, i'll never forget it.. I said "gimme the remote" and daughters father said quickly, "gimme got shot in the parking lot" lol.. i corrected myself, and said "please hand me the remote" but still looking kind of puzzled at him.. he said it means, gimme doesn't have a very good outcome. That'll teach me lol

    I am Irish too........my grandparents straight from Ireland.....the quotes i have heard.......especially the drinking ones!!

    Here in Vegas, Saint Patricks Day.. everyone wheres green, but also along with it alot of people having buttons and shirts that say "Kiss me I'm Irish" does anyone know why they came up with that slogan.. or saying?

    Hi imagin,

    I think it's origin comes from the blarney stone. Kissing the blarney stone represents good luck. I am not 100% certain on this....but it is what i grew up being told.

    Has anyone actually kissed the blarney stone?

    I have Irish blood in me too - my great great grandfather came from Cork and settled in Sussex.
