    I saw that on the news. I think someone else tried to sue the casino when he lost from being drunk but it did not work. It will be interesting to see how this pans out .

    I pretty much hate the "I was drunk" excuse, not particularly in this case but in general. Some people think that they can be forgiven for something they do while intoxicated but they always seem to forget that nobody shoved those drinks down their throats.

    Looks like it will all come down to the video footage.  I hope he wins - maybe it will teach these casinos a lesson; you can't ply your customers with drink to make them spend more and get away with it.

    I usually do not support the I was drunk excuse because we are all adults, but then again, I'd have to wait for the surveillance video to make the final conclusions about this case. It would be cool if he wins it.

    This is ridiculous, and I agree that there's no case.
    On the other hand, it is really convenient that most casinos serve free drinks as long as you're playing. You can choose not to drink anyway wink
