  • Hiya Guys and Dolls,

You are given the chance to get back every single wager you ever made in your lifetime. Both online as well as land based casinos. You know that you will receive a large sum of money.

But there is just a small tiny catch! In order to receive it, you can never ever place another wager in your life again.

    Would you take the deal?

    Lips
  • Absolutely!  I'd have a lot of dough I'm pretty positive about that.

    What would you do Lips?

    blue

  • Even just thinking about it makes me want to shout YAHOOOOO~~
yes, without any question, I will take the chance of getting back all the money I have been giving away. grin
I will probably be able to live at least three years without have to lift my finger to do any work with that money. shocked

  • Great question Lips... as for me... OH YEAH, Show Me the MONEY!

  • I would absolutely take that deal! It would be tough not to gamble again. It's fun darn it!

  • I'm a generous man. After pulling out the dusty calculator i figure i could buy the entire world a shot of whiskey and still have some left. I'll settle on taking the dough.

  • Well i guess i am the odd one out. I think i would decline it. I love to gamble too much and it's a big part of entertainment for me. And to be honest i probably wouldn't stick to the deal then i'd probably be doomed!

I think I may be with you.  If I were to get all my losses back, one of the first things I would think would be.... yippee, I have a lot of money to deposit.
  • Take away my gambling is not a fun future. I would say keep it i'm too busy playing right now maybe come back later.

  • I'd like to say,I'd take the money and run but it would probably be straight to a casino!! laugh_out_loud

  • That would be (For me) $50-90K (Add all years and maybe double) and yes I would take it all back and invest it! Ummm...So in a way, I'd be "Gambling" again!! laugh_out_loud

  • I am a record keeper, so I know to the penny how much I have spent gambling since I started almost 5 years ago.  Lips, I'd have to answer it two ways.

    1.  Money spent on online gambling...I'd take it all back.  I have actualized a 27% net loss there.  The reality is while most online gambling sites do NOT cheat, the still use very sophisticated software to keep the house edge up against you.

    2.  Money spent at land based casinos.....I would not take back.  I have actualized a 34% net gain there.  The coaching I received from a math professor friend has helped me in roulette.  And, I have taken dice-throwing lessons which has helped at craps.  Blackjack?  Very frustrating.  I actually have a net loss with that at land based casinos.

  • Wow doc those are staggering statistics. You could become a professional gambler. I think it is time to fess up and tell us your secrets!!

I a surprised BJ netted you the lowest percentage given that is the best odds of winning.

    Lips
  • Lips...I could earn a living in the land based casinos.  I employ a "get ahead-get out" method.  I am convinced the number 1 error of gamblers is playing too long.  BJ I just find boring following the odds card.  (Hit on this, stay on that, split this)  Craps is where some pretty huge money can be won.

Online gambling is another matter.  Again, they employ software that makes long term winning near impossible.

  • I'm wearing out my welcome every time i go . Blackjack is my game at brick and mortar. Roulette worst percentage in house. Bring the house down with craps ooo wee six five no jive.

  •         No way, man!  It sounds tempting because the amount would be considerable.  I  enjoy it too much and  although I have lost a bit,  I also have won too.
