getting account removed here?

hey all,

just wondering how I can get my forum account closed?

its probably now when I decided I can gamble no longer... its just horrid.

In years on gambling there has been lots of ups and downs, but mainly downs, I have never won anything big at all but its always whatever I win I throw back in and more.

Although there have been many cutdowns its just been a wakeup call to me on how evil gambling really is.

I did mention in the teething on reversing withdrawl thread how yesterday my gambling day was horrid. Lost money again on UK £70 jackpot machines, then had a gamble online... thinking I was sorted with $266 cashed out ($166 profit) I swiftly posted there and tried to hold on until the reverse time had gone...

3 hours until my withdrawl cant be reversed and what do I do? I reverse it and lose the entire lot.

Then I play elsewhere with another $150 of my cash and wham, lost it all.

So not only have I lost $416 in about 15 mins (at max) but my loss from the fruit machines yesterday come back into a loss (and money I spent on a taxi home due to missing the last bus because I was playing the machines) which makes my total losses for just 2 days be nearly $600 (around £400 ). What have I actually got to show for that? nothing except a few crappy comp points to the value of $3

Just imagine what it would take to win that money playing at a casino... either 1 high bet that has an extreme amount of luck or tactically playing for more than 10 hours and slowly reaching that amount.

I cant even see a point of waiting around and only playing the "no deposit" bonuses because they do make you want to play with your own cash.

If I lose with a ND bonus, I may be tempted to deposit but I can refrain myself from doing so... If I win then usually I will cash it out and put ALL of it (and some of my own cash) back into the casino which too often results in a loss.

Im just trying now to justify it to myself with partial facts. Fair enough I could of had £240 more in the bank if I hadnt done this stupid thing... But as most of us know... "gambling money" is never really our money. People dont just win money and stop gambling... They may win a nice chunk once but then possibly over the next 3-4 months they will put all of that back in gradually bit by bit.

This could make it a wakeup call for me, instead of the $25 a week or 2 put into online casinos I can just stop, put the money in a savings account and then after 6 months i have "won" a big chunk of cash.

Im actually feeling a bit better now about it because as I mention above I know full well that money wouldnt of been mine for long. It would of stayed in the bank for a few weeks and gradually been eaten away at with deposits.


So yea, I do think its the time everything gambling related was removed from my life, casinos, arcades and forums and that I just start a fresh with my own money being spent on things for myself.

I can understand your reasoning but it's a big shame too.

I'm so sorry to see you go from LCB.  You will be missed by me for one and I have no doubt I'm not alone.   I've enjoyed our banter about the UK fruities and I will miss that.

Im sorry to see you go, honestly loved reading your posts. As much as I will miss ya, I want you to be happy. If that means leaving anything gambling related, so be it. Hang in there, stay strong, and take care of yourself.

You will truly be missed. Perhaps you may want to reconsider and just take a long break from LCB and anything gambling related?

  Sparkz you sure will be missed. For the short time you've been around, you, as one person, covered quite a bit of territory. You have assisted many in their decisions as where to and not to play. Before you go, will you rub some of that good luck on me? No really, what's the use, that would just be all the more I'd lose back. You should consider yourself quite a winner that you can be so strong into making yourself do what you know you need to do. Take care.

sparkz i know what youre talkin about, i often feel like writing/posting what you often do ^^
i have the same sickness:)
nevertheless, i can say blocking this account wont help a  bit.
the only thing that can help you is discipline, or you need to find  a girl that will stand behind you with the broom stick ready to use.
or you can go to  a financial trustee, and have yourself budgetted.
if you block yourself from this forum, you will still be able to read everything, or find another similar forum.
the only thing that would be usefull is blocking your casino accounts.
if they wont do it , just claim 20 free chips in  a row, then call support ask for more per live chat, phone and email, and when they wont give tell them how f**ked up they are, start calling them names, and voila: all accounts magically blocked!

so either you take measures, that will really prevent you from putting iin money in the casino, like budgetting etc, or you go to  a hypnotist to change your mindset.
one can hypnotize him/herself, but that isnt easy:)
