Going to Children's OU medical center on Fri

For Kelsea's MRI. They have to rule out tumors on her spine before the surgeon can operate. If they find no tumors, they will operate to put metal rods in her back. She will have to go back every 6 months to have the rods lenghtened until she stops growing so they can fuse her spine. I would lay down and die right now if I could keep her from going thru this, but since I can't I have to stand up and be strong for her. My emotions are completely irrelevent. It has to be done, we have to endure it and I have to be there for her. I ask God every night for the strength to be strong for her. I ask the Holy Mother to pray for her and myself as she knows what it is like to watch your child suffer. But in my heart, I KNOW she will be okay. I will not allow otherwise.

You and Kelsea have been in my prayers ever since I found out what she has been going through...
Not only you are a great and supportive mother but she is also a very brave girl!
I wish the best for both you and your daughter and of course with everyone who love and care for Kelsea...

My prayers are with you and your family. I believe the Lord will wrap his arms around you and carry you through this time. I know it's stressful, but I applaud your strength and courage. You are an amazing person, and mother.
