    Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo has replaced Orson Welles's Citizen Kane at the top of a poll that sets out to name one film "the greatest of all time".

    The British Film Institute's Sight and Sound magazine polls a selected panel once every 10 years and Citizen Kane has been its top pick for the last 50 years.

    This time 846 distributors, critics and academics championed Vertigo, starring James Stewart and Kim Novak.

    Both of these films are on my top 10 list but my favourite all time movie is Vittorio de Sica's Ladri di biciclette aka Bicycle Thieves.

    Alfred Hitchcock was a master indeed.

    My fave film of all time..gosh difficult to answer Johnny.  There are so many that I never get bored watching over and over again.  Pulp Fiction is definitely way up there.

    Hmm... I don't know how to answer this... I will say Kubrick's "The Shining". I have a few more that I could watch over and over again.

    Casa Blanca is def up there on my list and its all for that famous piano scene and the quote " of all the gin joints in all the world, she had to walk into mine"..........sigh

    Gone with the Wind is another favorite for old time classics.

    Oh yeah, Casablanca is one of the greatest, definitely on my top 10 list. I watch it at least once every year, I know each line by heart but never get bored while watching it.
