    Day Before Mother's Day, that is really hard. I'm really sorry NiceNez..My Mom died last year on Christmas Morning.  I never saw her wake up.  I miss her everyday.  She was young too..71.   I have a poem for you and me as a tribute for our mothers.

                                     A Mother's Love

                             To some love is just a word
                                    To me it's a feeling
                  A feeling I get when I realize you're my mom
                               A mom who loves, shares,
                          A mom who inspires unconditionally
                                       What's that?   
                                       That's love
                   A mothers love, but only you would know
                                         And me
        You returned that love time and time again                                       
                   Possibly too much, nevertheless you did
                                  Thank-you

             Thank-you for being there most when I needed you
              For being my rock when I should have been yours
         Thank-you for believing in me, even when I doubted myself
                  For being the one person I could trust
                    No matter what, no matter where
              But most of all thank-you for being you-my mom
                       A mom I am so proud to claim
                                  I love you
                              Now and forever

    your poem touched my heart, my mom had a good life, she lived independently till 91...and made it to 92 birthday 4/11....

    i'm sorry for your loss, it must really be tough on you at the holidays

    I' m sorry to hear about the loss of yr mothers . I believe that mothers are never pass away.. are always near to us at any good or bad time of our life.

    Happy Mothers day to all the moms out there. I want to give a shout for special mother's day to all those who's mom has passed. Being a chat mod here at LCB gave me the honor to embrace the sad moments in members lives. Some of those memories include the grief of  losing a mom.

    Without mentioning any names....You special members are in my heart today. For everyone else who shared there stories on this post, peace be with you and yours.
