Why I am sitting here posting on Valentines Eve?  Hubby went to bed at 7pm with the Flu.

Poor Gabby, no valentine's rose or box of chocs...
just spending time with laptop posting docs...

I too spent Valentine at online bingo's...

A half hour to go
Of my Valentine's Night
A tulip and cactus for me
And not one chocolate bite

I spent all day spinning
And hoping yellow turns red

There may be many more members here at LCB with poetic capabilities...staying silent, only watching and reading, not daring to chip in...until someone pops a balloon behind them!

Zuga, Lips, Melcb...a poetic contest one of these days should be exhilirating...dont you think so? 

A contest would be fun.

Anyone could start a topic in General Discussion/Fun and Games where one person starts the poem, and others add on.  It could be epic and awesome.  Or very funny, even. 

And we do have some very good poets on board (Rena...) and yes probably some poets who don't even know it.  Now, I'm supposed to be going to bed now.  I'll be sorry tomorrow if I don't step away from the forum.  Sleepy makes me ramble.

and Froggy, I guess that we went through the same kind of coma though I really don't choose any special day to fall into a sugar coma. I shouldn't say this out loud but the chocolate is my weakness.
