    Kelsea has a preop appointment.. She goes Tues for an outpatient surgery to lengthen the growth rods along her spine. I have talked to her about it. She has already associated the hospital with not good things so I hope she won't be too afraid.  It's is an outpatient procedure but I am still sick with worry.

    Hospital was a mess, over a 3 hour visit.  I think they were trying to cram everyone in before and after the holiday.  We have to be at the hosp at 6 Tues morning so that means up at 4. I wish my daughter would stay at a hotel, but home is the only place she will sleep.

    From what I have seen through your posts, I already know that Kelsea is a very high spirit and strong girl and she will be with a mom who happens to be a super willed person...

    my husband was on  the playstation earlier and he had his mike on and my daughter was  happy and "singing".  Somebody said something about her, I couldn't hear what was said but I heard my husband telling him off.  What a shame that she can't be happy without someone being an ass.  I realize with her being handicapped that there will be people who say terrible things but it still hurts.

    I'm so sorry to hear this wmmeden.  Some people can be so cruel.  I don't think I would be able to keep my cool about it if it was my child - I would definitely lose the plot.
