Help i got Pink Eye!!

Hiya Guys and Dolls,

I have had dreaded pink eye for close to a week now. Went to doc and he gave me eye drops and antibiotics but it is taking foreverrrrrrrrrrrr to get better. I look like a pirate with one eye almost closed shut with the swelling on my top eye lid and all i need is a parrot on my shoulder.

I feel like a prisoner in my own home because i can't go out and be seen and i look like i was beat up!

Does anyone have any good home remedies to bring the swelling down? It would be greatly appreciated.

Ok wise guy! I have a better idea.......i'll just borrow Johnny Depp for awhile, he has a parrot but it won't be the parrot i will be a needin!

Ahhhhhh thank God for froggy who soothes the ole pink eye as it wakes up to hot sizzling smoking Johnny baby!

I had to look it up and I see that we call it conjunctivitis.  Apparently the best thing you can use is fresh unprocessed cows milk or goats milk.   

Failing any cows living nearby to you, my own personal remedy is boil some water. Pour  a little of the boiled water into a clean cup (preferably rinse the cup with boiled water first) and mix in a teaspoon of salt.  Get plenty of cotton l balls and just bathe the eye once the solution has cooled.  Use each cotton l ball just once.

P.S.  I got a parrot if you wanna borrow him 

cool wet tea bags soaked on eye for 10 minutes at a time.  try chamomile or black.

wash hands a lot!  feel better!

my mom used to use milk when we had the pink eye(i always thought she was crazy but i guess not )get better soon

I had such a nasty thing too and it went away in around 1 week (with antibiotics).

I don't know much about any remedy but I hope you recover soon Lips.
