    I have never seen Cledus do this before.  I havent figured out yet if he is sleeping or dying.

    OMG he better be sleeping. Such a cutie. I take it he doesn't usually sleep in the food bowl.

    He is protecting his food that's for sure. How old is he gunny and forgive me if you mentioned this before and i missed it but what kind of little critter is he.....a hamster?

    Good news.  Cledus for some strange reason decided to take a nap with his head in the hay bowl.  He is fine.  After this episode he came up to me when i was on the couch twice for a cashew nut. Lips NO USA Cledus and Lester are guinnea pigs or as I call them, mini pigs.  They are each probably 10 times bigger than a hampster.  I am just happy u didnt call them hampsters to their faces.  They get all pissed off over that.  Lastly, my 2 boys are 3 years and 9 months old.  I rescued them when they were 7 months old.  They are brothers that have been together since birth. They look totally different than 1 another.  They both have the same nose but totally different personalities and eating preferences.  I swear I dont know what has gotten into Cledus.  They kick hay all over the bottom of their swimming pool so I take that hay and pile it in the back of the  pool as an emergency suppy for them.  The pile has reached near the top of the pool.  I just looked and Cledus was on top of the highest point of the mountain of hay.  Its wierd because Lester is the goofy one not him.  Lottie Lab thinks the only purpose of having the 2 mini pigs is for them to steal her dog food.  Her behavior with them is getting worse and worse.  Over time she is suppose to be better with them.  2 nights ago she lunged at Lester and almost landed on him.  Lester ran when Lottie Lab lunged at him but he stopped 2 soon.  Just another typical night at the gunnylab zoo.
