I have reformed today....

For the past year (Or so) I have been "Piggybacking" off this one signal which was in the neighborhood.

In the months I have been using it. I have seen times where it dropped out, or another network would slip in (BellNet sucks) and so I'd have to go through the wireless repair.

Sometimes it was quickly resolved, sometimes not. When the weather got a bit rainy/damp, the original signal would seem to fade out totally. So, finally I just got tired of this and while it was a bit painful (Well, the first 3 months I get it half-priced)  I decided this up and down connection wasn't worth it.

So, I now signed up with a local dealer and have a nice wireless connection.  I even learned that the signal I was getting, was because someone had done a router to wireless and so that's how I was getting it all along.

(Note wireless to your computer is ok, using a router, makes your system "Wi-fi" and accesable unless encrypted)

So I'm no longer a "Broad Band" thief and won't complain (Till later maybe)about the cost of being honest. But for now, I'll try to be so.

(Oh, got my card slammed again by the bank. I had to apologize again and swear not to use them for online gambling...Ok, I won't..Sheesh!)

Your card got slammed??? Most banks automatically decline the transaction. Was it a credit card or your personal bank acct?

Personal debit card. But Chase is not happy this occurs and it was a MC card too.

I did find (By experiment) that if I hit an RTG, I unchecked the box for "Express Deposit" and the money went through. So, that's how I did that.

But I'll be using the WM reloadable card. cheaper, doesn't get declined (From what I ave heard so far) and looks to be the best method....

What state are you in.....a restricted state?

depending on were you live there is also a card called the SKY card you get it at a currencty exchange it's 2.95 to buy and 2.00 to load but you can use the temporary one immediatly and you get the hard one in 7days works go as well i use both so try that as well

Actually, the bank is actually right for it's concern as the debit card is issued by a US Financial institution, which places it into the grey shadow of the UIGEA decision.

There are multiple "pre-pay" options available and as these are, by their own charter not a credit card and not a debit card, as defined by UIGEA standards quite functional. The choice of which to use is up to individuals and probably based on easy access to re-load and cost of maintainence.

The Ewallet solution, is also very viable, but again the fee system should be looked at when making the determination, weighing functionality versus frugality.

Let me ask you this....by using ewallet...i use ewalletxpress.....it still hits your bank. Why doesnt the bank question that. The only purpose ewallet serves is for online gambling. I am sure the banks are well aware of this.

Yet it has not been an issue for banks.....at least as far as i know. Not sure anyone got busted thru there bank by using a ewallet acct....is it a matter of time?

The reason it works Lips is the transaction is between Ewallet express and your financil institution, not your financial instittution and an online gaming facility.

Ewalletxpress, like Paypal and other types of middleman operations have had the legality of their operation confirmed many times over. While we, in our community may use them primarily for online gaming interests, they are actually used for nearly any online purchasing opportunity and offer a level of safety and security that is desired.

When a deposit or withdrawal is requested from your bank from Ewalletxpress or Paypal or other similar venue, the purchase is never disclosed and can be for anything from a FTD florist, an Ebay Purchase, an order from LL Bean... or a casino. The bank has no details of what the purchase is, they just see the invoice and either accept the payment in, or, if you have the proper amount to cover the purchase, make the payment out.

UIGEA only says it is not kosher for a financial institute to send or recieve to a online gaming facility. Ewalletxpress is not a gaming faciliity so no grey area.

Thats what i kinda figured. I know i can NOT use paypal. They disallowed online gambling purchase a long time ago.

Are you using paypal........if so how on God's green earth are you able to?
