So a couple days ago, I ventured into my local food center, intent on buying some..food..(DUH!) and wandered around as I was trying to limit my purchase money (I have rent and land payment due) so getting the old "Most bang for the buck" theory was in play.
I don't dink milk (Lactose intolerant) but do have creamer (Int Delight at $2.18 for 32 ounces buy 3) and eggs and such. But my thrill was walking down the mix aisle (Pancakes! YUM!) and I got the Bisquick brand.
This nice employee said "Oh you like Pancakes?"
I replied I did.
"Have you looked at then end of the aisle? There's a sale on Krusteze"
I think "Well, I don't have a favorite" so I go and check.
10 POUNDS of the stuff for only $2 more then what I am paying $4.96 for 3 lbs!!
Ohhh man! So in celebration I go and get a "Hero sub sandwich" ($3.98) from the deli section and then load up and go home.
That's why I like my shopping center..(WinCo) and the staff are helpful.
Yes, I had pancakes today..Well, sort of..Made three and had made such big ones, I have made a lunchtime snack also

Still celebrating!!
dwork with their favorites, alcohol flowing free and through the week neighbors taking a couple minutes to shoot the breeze... Quite different from the reclusive little community I moved into 8 months ago.
