i love snow

when i was little my favortie song was ia am dreaming of a white xmas . here in america my house faces the mountain and every year , even though my body is sad  i wait for that first snow flake. when i drove for meals on wheels i would get on the radio and immedietly start singing xmas songs even if it was october.  the snow makes everything so beautiful and white, it makes the air warmer, the tips of the mountains shine and the sky at night is so beautiful that you feel you are a shining star. No i am not a romantic but my happiest memories as a child was in the snow.  god i wish it would snow.  have a good day and merry xmas this year.  spazz03

I too like snow. Especially when I'm sitting on my butt in the house watching the traffic reports and they show people who have NO CLUE about driving in the snow!!!

People zipping through a curve that in dry weather can be done at 50 mph, but you see them also do that with 4" of snow out there and it's Slllliiidddeeee...CRUNCH!!!! into a barrier...Ignorant dolts!!

Just last night on my way home from the Land casino it started to snow, and I mean it was coming down at a pretty good clip.  Where the snow is going sideways instead of downwards.  I could of done without that for the very first experience of the year.

Snow is beautiful, when your safe at home, with a warm fire, and looking out at it thru a big picture window.  And you have no where you need to go. 

Driving in snow is not my favorite thing to do.

On the bright side, I just did my shopping, good for 2 weeks..anyone want to come scoop snow? I got hot  oatmeal, eggs, OJ and some meat...:)

thank you for your replys yes there are downsides to snow idiots who dont know how to drive in snow and those who just hate it but ababys first snowman or snowball i can see if even now.  snow can come for xmas and go away but it does warm the air and artic freeze doesnt rear its ugly head if i had my choice snow!!!!!

Just kidding Spazz..The nice thing is to see that blanket of smooth white stuff.

I think the really daunting thing is when ice hits.

I can well remember walking (Chuckle) my dogs after OR/WA got hit with about 4-6" on 2003. I had golf shoes so I had no probs, the dogs looked at me in disgust (In their way) while they slid and slipped..Watching them try and whiz on bushes was a laugh!
