I post with glee (And a bit of fustration)

Well, another bright spot. This morning I went and bought my first laptop and so far I am doing well, except for the space bar and the ALT tabs (They sit right next to it on both sides)

But hey, I am online with protection and am having a good day so far. Even if I should drop this computer, I bought that "Black Tie" protection they offered and will make my own back up for this laptop.

Best buy wanted $100. I know a guy (Geek) at work who'd do it for $50 and that's what I'd prefer as I know he'd like the money and would use it locally.

Now to install my casinos...Soon to  get a Wal-Mart card (Again) so I can play online once more. Oh and I watched a bit of a DVD to test this laptop out. It's OK but not earth shattering. Still all is good.

All this for $399.19 Still have enough for rent and 2 more paydays to come!!!

That's great gene you are doing so darn good now! It may take you sometime to get use to the laptop, i know it did for me. But once you get comfortable with it you'll wonder how you ever lived without one.

I need a new one too cuz mine is shot. You got a good price for yours. Can you let me know what brand it is and how long it holds the battery charge?

Sure lips it's a Toshiba Satellite C655 I believe the bat holds for 3.5-4 hours.

Oh also learned you DO NOT ever have the battery in while using ac plug in as it will wreck the battery. Use the battery only when you cannot be near a plug in....I have to charge mine soon, just in case.

I personally so dislike using the little track pad on a laptop so I much prefer my desk top but there are times I have no choice but to use it.

Hi Genenco!  So nice to see you and look forward to regular posts again.  Don't know if you remember but I live in your neighboring state to the South   Hope you are enjoying Summer...finally.  My first laptop ever, MANY years ago, was a Toshiba and that was one of the best laptops I've ever owned.  Lasted a long time even tho I did have to replace the battery one or two times in the several years I owned it.  Good choice....hope it will be a great workhorse for you.

Better news also. Went to the bars for a bit of "Entertainment" (Playing the slots in truth) this morning and was able to walk away with $460 profit. So the computer purchase is now free.

Talk about having good fortune. So I also bought a few lottery tickets for tonight. Heh!

Way to go! And for the record I've had my laptop (dell) for over 2 years and the battery stays put in my computer...I've had no problems with it. Keep the good luck rolling in!! Oh and I noticed you said you use wal-mart cards to deposit, just in case your interested the Rushcard prepaid visas work for me and they come in such pretty colors...lol
