if you hit a jackpot what would you do?

lets start another and newer if you hit a jackpot what would you do? well i would first pay all my bills off, then i would buy all the things we still needed for the house and us, then i would go to a live casino and try to win more. lol. so it would have to be a really big jackpot.

Good question! I am would be boring and do the mature and adult thing first and pay off all my debts. Then buy my parents something like an apartment or a big around the world trip!

Not much would change for me, money has always been a means to an end rather than a motivating factor in my life. I'm already fairly content in my day to day, so other than working less and travelling more life would stay pretty much the same.

depends on how big of a JP it would be. 

I would also pay off all my debts, travel around the world, share winnings with my family and buy myself one very expensive musical intument.

...and live happilly ever after lol 

If I won a jackpot, I'd like to spend money on some nice trips, exotic islands, beaches, nice parties!  

If i hit a jackpot i would save the money in my account i will maybe invest in change of currencies. and i will invest a few in paying poker. If the jackpot is 10k$ >

I would buy an appartement to rent it or i will create a restaurant, a coffee place, or a pharmacy (i m pharmacist). If the jackpot is 200$<

             If I hit a huge jackpot, firstly organized a crazy party for my friends . In the secondly I would buy a motorcycle))). Ha ha ! And I think my jackpot will be enough for  that. I do not think that I will win anymore)))

Haha I think you and MellisaN should combine jackpot winnings and throw a HUUUGE party! You both sound like you love partying with friends;)

if it's a huge jackpot ;), help my parents out, buy a massive estate, travel the world for a year and make a sensible long-term investment with the rest. I'd need a really big jackpot for all of this though... 

If the win is great, try to do everything possible that would not play anymore. And invest money in something that can`t be lost in the casino.

Some really interestng comments and good ideas and suggestions from the LCB members on this thread, If I won a really life changing sum of money from a progressive jackpot the very first thing I would do is move out of South Africa to some remote island somewhere and spend my days chilling and enjoying life with the latest tech toys purchased   

I can imagine several scenarios but one of them would definitely be investing in real estates and moving to some Mediterranean island

Yes, the good ole jackpot pipe dream. It gets us all through the day from time to time. 

Pay off debts.

Travel.

Fix up the old shack. 

Get wife a new car. 

Eat out at a Michelin restaurant. 

Buy some insanely expensive wine. 

Give some money to worthy causes. 

Help out friends and family. 

Go gamble some more. 

it's not easy to win the jackpot, but if I win it I'll make my life a holiday without tomorrow

I would invest in real estates. Save some part of it. 

Help family/friends/ maybe some charity work. 

Travel and buy stuff ( I know it sounds like a cliche)

If I hit a massive jackpot today I would most likely quit gambling because it’s hard enough to win a big jackpot once let alone win it twice. Has this even happened before?

If I continued to play after winning a big jackpot I feel like I would just waste time and money chasing that big win again.

This is how I would use the money:

1. Pay off debts along with other relatives.

2. Donate to charities (10%).

3. Buy a home.

4. Start a business.

5.  Invest the rest.

Quit gambling? Oh no, I would keep playing just for the excitement. I would build my own gambling room, complete with lounge bar, ambilights, multiple screens with one large in the middle and ofcourse surround set along with it. I would invite my friends and play together whenever we can. Why would you stop having fun when you're able to do it more often?

Will donate all to charity...Yeah, I'm not that noble really.

Don't have any idea what I will going to do,think of improvising...but this is a 'problem' anyone would want to 'solve' I think?
