My daughter felt sorry for me and directed me to this website. About 12 hours later I was matched with a "secret santa" of sorts, and God Bless Her and the site, I now am receiving a $30 gift card to Target from Peggy, in California and can get gifts for all my grandkids!  Awesome.

If you need some help, or know someone who does, act fast as I do not know when they'll be shutting this off.

Additionally, if you would like to be a Secret Santa, you can be matched up with a needy person to give them some Christmas spirit yourself! 

I encourage all who can to do either one of the above options!

PS...wow.  Peggy saw how many grandkids I had and emailed me a $50 Wal Mart online gift card!  I feel so blessed this Christmas.  I do hope that anyone else reading this thread and needing a little help or wanting to give will be encouraged and blessed as well.

Folks, another update.  In case you want to respond, request, comment, or add yourself to the match list, just put your name (real, or made up) in the post a comment section, along with your email address so the person who you are matched with can contact you.  First time, your post goes into a queue for review.  But after that every visit will have your info filled in and you will not be waiting.  Jenny, the Bloggess, is totally exhausted keeping track and updating.

Right now it appears there are more people offering help than there are people requesting.  Amazing!  And more in the wings waiting in case there aren't enough donors for the requestors.  Everyone requesting  as of around 3pm has ALREADY BEEN MATCHED.  It's truly a Christmas Miracle!

Amazingly, I received another match for $30, but asked them to check with Jenny to make sure there wasn't someone else that needed the money more than me.  Several have posted that they have had more than one match and EVERYONE is touched by the posts, the generosity, and the love being handed out. 

I can't say enough how totally AWESOME this site has been for making Christmas happen for so many!!!!!!

  Thanks Chilly, I may give it a shot, even though that part of Christmas has shut down.  Without a tree, it's just not the same. 

Helwin, once you start reading the comments on the blog, you will feel a lot more like Christmas.  They've been just outrageously awesome.  I have no tree either, nor family at Christmas.  I do have food for the table, and me and the kitty cats will eat well, though not a traditional meal, I suppose. 
And with the generosity of the bloggess, I'll be able to give my daughter gas money so I can be with 2 of my children and all of my grandkids for their belated Christmas party on New Years Eve!

wow it might be 2 late but thats ok i was supposed to recieve help from a church but they havent contacted me (due to my lupus and staying sick i lost my job) you guys keep me in your prayers (and other needy people this christmas some who will need your prayers more) i will contact the church today hopefully they will still help congrats to all you guys and MERRY XMAS to you and your familys may god bless you <3
