Is Pinocchio real?

When my daughter was little, she watched the movie Pinocchio
and truely beleived if she lied her nose would grow, what scared her
was in the movie his nose gets so long branches grow, and birds
come and make a nest. She actually thought it would happen,
beleived it. Later she watched an episode of the Rugrats, where
in the show they portrayed and told the story of Pinocchio, in which
Angelic woke up in the next morning with a bump on her nose after telling a lie.
Now that really got her beleiving, seeing it happen on Rugrats!

When she was about 7 years old, me and my sister were sitting
on the couch watching TV, i nudged my sister and said watch this..
I asked my daughter.. "were you a good girl in school today?"
"Yes Mommie" she replied, i then asked "Were you chasing boys
around the playground?" "No mommie.. i dont chase boys mom"
A few minutes later she began to slowly sink down in the chair she
was sitting in, it had high arms she thought we couldn't see her,
sneakily she brought her hand up to her nose, looking with
her eyes both ways seeing if we noticed, and kinda tapped
her nose, checking if it was growing, me and my sister about ready
to pass out from laughing and trying so hard to hold it in.
Later that night, she came to me and said.. "Mommie Pinocchio
isn't real" i said why do you say that, she said "I told a lie and my nose
didn't grow" I said yes it did grow, i saw it big and long, it's YOU who cannot see
it but everyone else does. now my daughter wants to kill me for
that!! But it did keep her honest.

When you were young, were there any characters you beleived in,
actually thought were REAL?
Just for fun everyone!

I don't know about any characters off the top of my head..but I DEFINATELY remember the monster under my bed was real.  And I knew he was going to grab my feet if I got too close.  So every night before I went to bed, I would make a running start from the other room, and jump into my bed so he wouldn't touch my feet! 

Well, one that put an impact on me was
"Sleeping Beauty" i had a dream that night,
i had took a bite of like 20 apples, and in the dream
before i could wake up boys were all lined up to kiss me
for every apple i bit, being a child i was like.. "eew dog germs"
"cooties" "id rather be socked in the arm".. lol
But after that dream i was always afraid of the first bite
of an apple thinking it would put me to sleep, and i would
have to kiss a boy before i could wake up lol

did you guys hear one about pinocchio, when the lady is sitting on his face ?
