  • I was reading T&C at a casino and came upon this. Participation in the activities and games of the Casino (the "Game") is open only to residents of those jurisdictions where such participation is legal and not prohibited. Participation in the Game is void wherever prohibited by law.

Residents of the following US states are not able to place bets. register accounts or transfer funds to our casinos:
    Wisconsin
    Indiana
    Oregon
    Washington
    Illinois
    Louisiana
    South Dakota
    Michigan
    Nevada
    Missouri

Now if i don't live in those places, but i live in a state that has  no legalize gambling can they void my winning. I read the section Gambling online illegal in the USA? Now i cash out at a poker site, but never cash out at a casino.

  • Hi Kynettie,

Each online casino has different rules. For example as we know Microgaming allows no US players while RTG Casinos do allow US players for the most part. And there are some casinos that restrict players from certain states. So there is no clear cut answer to your question because it basically hinges on each individual casino's rules.

  • I think you are asking if you don't live in one of the States that the casino excludes from participating(opening an account, depositing and playing)can they void your winnings.  Techically, they shouldn't void your winnings if you don't live in one of the States listed. And, it is always a good idea to review each casinos terms. But if you read the majority of the casinos terms, they can void your winnings at managements discretion for various other reasons. That is why it is important to play at only casinos that have been deemed reputable and accredited.

The casinos don't allow players from States that specifically have laws banning online play and that is why the states that aren't allowed are basically the same at each casino, atleast the ones I play at.
