Joan Rivers - Dead at age 81

It happens in 3's.  Robin Williams, Lauren Bacall and now Joan Rivers.

Rivers had been in an induced coma following cardiac arrest during a routine endoscopy.

Joan Rivers was vulgar, most of the time, but she was a legend.  I will miss her humor and E Fashion Police one liners.

On the red carpet, Joan was the one who started "Who are your wearing?". Everyone was aghast.  It is now a staple and the only thing many watch red carpet shows for.

She certainly was a talented woman.  Sad to see all these stars passing away and sad to hear about her death.

only reason i gave her  is because she could take this piss out of herself but dish it out in equal measure, though the gaza quote was pushing it imo R.I.P

Yes, she had some perhaps unreasonable quotes lately, but still, she was one of my favorite stand up comedians, She's a legend R.I.P

She will truly be missed. She really told it like it was and that was that  . My condolences go out to her family.

Most certainly RIP, and I guess 81 is a tad younger than most people would hope for, especially a woman, I just hope she felt she had made the most of her life, afterall that is what really matters. I know I still have a long way to go yet myself...

              The last month or so has been very depressing.  I was very saddened to hear about  Joan Rivers. Personally,  I thought she was funny as Hell.  I know she could be divisive but she was very self-deprecating and could laugh at herself which I admired.  She was brutally honest  and I thought wasn't mean spirited-she tried to offend equally. 
                My older sister does the funniest impersonation of Joan Rivers I've ever seen.    Really hysterical
after a couple belts.    RIP  Joan.

TBH I never heard of her until few days ago when I saw she was rushed to the hospital .

It happened in "fours"  really - Sir Richard Attenbrough died last week.  Talented actor and Director and brother of the wonderful Sir David Attenborough.

Very sad to have lost Joan Rivers. She was the most energetic 81 year old I have ever seen. Her comments on Fashion Police were priceless. Her comedy was great because she said what we all think but some don't have the nerve to say.

She really was one of a kind.
