    What is the world coming to? 

    A FAMILY COURT judge beat his disabled daughter relentlessly with a belt.  The video is hard to watch.

    He was suspended WITH PAY.  He was NOT required to have any mental evaluation.
    The Texas Supreme Court just reinstated him to the bench....to oversee Family Court.

    Unfreakin' Believable.

    Oh yeah.  Texas. 

    Whippings with the belt.  I'm not going to watch that video, I can still hear the echoes of 30 or so full manly force lashes of leather on my butt while I leaned over the bathtub with my panties down. 

    (you going to do that again?  NOOOOOO  you want some more?  NOOOOOO  whacka whacka whacka  repeat until, well, I don't know when but eventually)

    That's sad.  Bad enough being disabled without having a good ole boy in charge of discipline.

    Oh, and I guess I'll add, my dad was a mayor.  And choir director.  And I'm sure his dad did much worse to him.

    At least it's being brought out in the open for this judge.  Back then in the 60's / 70's well, it was just the way things were.  Obviously we still need to work on the problem today.

    This man shouldn't be a judge, that's all I'm going to say. Because nobody will trust and respect his decisions once this outrageous video has gone public.

    Moreover, isn't what he has done a felony, shouldn't he be in jail now?

    I'm not sure what else the girl could say...where is she going to go?  Who will help her?  Not much choice under the circumstances but to say she forgives them.

    He should be in jail but the statue of limitations has run out by the time the daughter released the video.

    It is my understanding that the mom lived in fear and hit the child as instructed so the dad would stop.
