    This is the first time I heard about Mechanophilia but it exists. smiley

    Linda Ducharme from Florida first 'met' her husband - a giant Skydiver ferris wheel, which she calls 'Bruce' - in 1982. Last year they got married and recently renewed their vows.

    The ceremony was televised on a documentary on Logo TV in America called 'What?'.

    Ducharme said of her first meeting with 'Bruce' at a carnival: "I got this weird feeling I can't explain. My heart was pounding as we went up the platform and got on the ride. I felt like I was being taken by this ride."

    Ducharme had previously fallen in love with an aeroplane when she was a pilot and was involved in an intimate relationship with a train.

    :D I laughed a lot, and I thought "Well, whatever floats your boat, girl!"

    I like to live and let live, but on the other hand, this is a bit weird (which is obviously an understatement), and I'm not sure what would a psychologist would have to say about it....
    Although it is really not hurting anyone (not that I can't imagine someone being hurt on a ferris wheel), but I would skip the rides when she comes to visit her husband smiley

              The weird thing is they actually have a name for this s*** .  So obviously it happened/happens more than once.    Somebody really needs to get out more.  laugh_out_loud
