    Thank God for memories, they are a treasure and cannot be measured.  The cannot be stolen or taxed by the government.  They are special...they belong to you and hold a price that cannot be measured.  That is the beauty of it all...thank God for memories. wink

    December is a time to prepare for Christmas (for some of us) and I sometime get sad because this is the time I think about my mom and not knowing that she would leave us on December 19, 1994, that was the morning she had a massive stroke at work.  She would retire after 27 years for the VA Hospital in Long Beach, California.  We were planning on sending her on a cruise.  She passed on December 20, 1994 and I cannot remember Christmas that year, but what I can remember is a beautiful mother and friend.  She gave so much of herself and she lived life to the fullest and I have wonderful memories that I truly treasure of my mom.  I miss her, but her light truly shines within my heart and those are the memories I carry with me everyday, they are a treasure and no price can be put on those memories they are priceless. wink

    You are so right!!!  They can take EVERYTHING except memories and our word.  GREAT POST HUN.  Thanks for sharing and I am truly sorry that you lost your mother hun.  But you will ALWAYS remember her.

    I can't write the things I would like to write as it upsets me too much.  I have a lump in my throat just thinking about it.
