Thank God for memories, they are a treasure and cannot be measured. The cannot be stolen or taxed by the government. They are special...they belong to you and hold a price that cannot be measured. That is the beauty of it all...thank God for memories.

December is a time to prepare for Christmas (for some of us) and I sometime get sad because this is the time I think about my mom and not knowing that she would leave us on December 19, 1994, that was the morning she had a massive stroke at work. She would retire after 27 years for the VA Hospital in Long Beach, California. We were planning on sending her on a cruise. She passed on December 20, 1994 and I cannot remember Christmas that year, but what I can remember is a beautiful mother and friend. She gave so much of herself and she lived life to the fullest and I have wonderful memories that I truly treasure of my mom. I miss her, but her light truly shines within my heart and those are the memories I carry with me everyday, they are a treasure and no price can be put on those memories they are priceless.
