MOVEMBER

Its that time of the year again and we would love to see pics of your efforts of growing a moustache in the 30 days of November.

Ladies you can participate too! You just need to get creative;)

What is Movember all about?
"The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during Movember (formerly known as November), to spark conversation and raise vital funds for its men’s health programs."Fund raised goes towards trying to save men affected by testicular cancer, prostate cancer,  and mental health problems.

• -Movember was born in 2003 by 2 friends from Melbourne. In 2004 they were able to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCFA) with fellow mo bros and mo sistas.

• -The Movember foundation was officially established in 2006 and partcipating countries included New Zealand. US, Canada and Spain started participating in November 2007.

• -Since then $580 million has been raised

• By 2013 participating countries included:  Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and USA.

It's a fantastic cause so I hope a lot of people are participating and showing their visible signs of support. Even for those unable to donate, raising awareness is as, or more important as, raising funds when it comes to men's health issues.

I'm going unshaven myself for the 30 days (*itch itch). Alas, the common peach has more success than me when it comes to accumulating fuzz. A 30 day before and after shot of me would look like anyone else's 2 minute-apart selfies.

Last year I joined Movember but its not a big deal for me as I uset to shave myself only 4-5 times in a year. So I kept the mont without shaving without any problems last year. I heard about that in the office where I'm working.
