My Friday Afternoon Fall

So I thought i'd share the horrific experience I had at work on Friday. I was leaving for a late lunch. I'm walking past two co-workers and we're saying our hello's when I step in a hole in the sidewalk and fall flat on my @$$. I wanted to die! One was yelling OMG and the other is trying to help me up. I refused the help saying "I'M FINE"! The side walk is raised a bit above the parking lot so my legs are dangling over the curb. I just wanted outta there as quickly as possible. I told them not to tell anyone as we're staring at the hole I stepped in during that awkward moment after the fall.

As if it couldn't get any worse, I'm walking through the parking lot and there is another co-worker sitting in his car facing the building where I so gracefully took a tumble. I couldn't even look at him but I'm sure he was howling.

If anyone would like to share a story worse than this one, I would appreciate it. I suppose I should feel blessed that I walked away with nothing but a bruised ego.

Froggy!!! Oh my goodness... this is sooooo embarrassing... here take this number down... 1-800-SueAHoe. They will fix you right on up, if you pay a little extra they will personally go over and beat that Hoe up, show it who's boss. I had a case of Hoe once, gat dern thing came outta no where, before i knew it i was flat on my a$$ with all eyes on me.

My gosh you poor poor thing, you'll be alright, Damn them Hoes!!!!

Btw, Froggy, don't worry, I have had more of such events than you can count! And although it is embarrassing at that moment, it goes away pretty quickly. You just need to make fun of it the next time you see the colleagues, and you'll be just fine.

This is the most embarrassing thing that has EVER happened to me. I was on a plane and got up to get off. There was red all over my bottom and I had no idea and walked off the plane. A kind woman told me to cover my bottom with my coat. I was mortified!!! A complete hysterectomy fixed that!!

You are not going to believe this, but I fell again last night. I swear I did. The dog splashed his water all over the kitchen floor and in I walk. Left foot slid forward and I landed on my right knee. Now that one hurt. Got a bruise and a little egg on it. 

Oh and ishin, my booty is fine. Thanks for your concern. You are way too kind.

Froggy..we might have to pitch in and get you a helmet and protective pads.  I totally have those days where I'm a total clutz or keep hurting myself on things.  It's frustrating.  Also if you knee hurts just hit your toe with something and you'll forget all about your knee hurting.

Oh dear Froggy.  You're not having a good time of it.  You know what they say....things come in threes.  Careful!

Froggy hun, you just got a falling streak! When times like this come, try not to do anything dangerous, like walking or, God forbid, running! No heels, just sneakers, and take a couple of days off, until this unhappy times go away.

Froggy.. it's like the first fall wasn't enough! I'm glad you are okay, and didn't break anything, but still a bump on the knee can be so painful!

I'm just going to be the girl in a bubble for the next few days. I laugh every time I think of how I must have looked.

You can still fall down and hurt yourself badly in that bubble of yours.

May I suggest some simple protective gear for the klutz?
