My husband and I would like your help please

My husband has been a member of this site for some time now and we have a request
We have a page that we would like everyone to go and share
It explains what we have been through and are continuing to go through
My husband has been a very hard worker for a long time so the man I am married to now is hard for me to deal with and I cry most nights

At the bottom of it there are options to share it and I do hope you can all do that
It is a site for donations as little as $1 but by sharing that will also get our story out to others
I have donated in the past but never thought I would be one of those asking for help
I really hate asking for help but with medical bills and the gas it costs to go to appointments it is getting too expensive so I have had to ask

I can assure you this is NOT a scam
I should be a widow now but some angel was looking after my husband that day and I thank God every day for that!

I have no problems if there are questions as talking has been part of my therapy too

I am sorry for your problems you have got, but I never give any money to people I don`t know at all. It is too many people who come with sad stories, and many of them are not true..

I used to feel that way too
I usually only give to organizations and never thought I would be in this position
I do hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday and just keep those people like my husband in their prayers
I hope one day he will be well enough to face the outside world again with all the passion he once had but for now I am happy to just have him with me still

I have been around for quite some time which is why steppek I said I understood how you felt
I moderated a few sites (back in the ezboard days and before) and saw some pretty big scams
It does pay to be cautious these days as the world seems to have become a very unfriendly place in a lot of ways

There's nothing wrong with asking for help. Everyone reaches a point in their lives where this is the only option. I hope you and your husband get the help needed, and hope this thread doesn't derail to negativity.  God Bless you and Happy Holidays.

If we get donations that is wonderful (and I do promise this is not a scam and I can provide the doctors report and police report that was filed when I took the gun out of my husbands hands) but I am very grateful just to have the support I am getting
We have had some lovely private messages and emails letting us know we are not alone

I am not the most religious person but I am definitely more of a believer now
When you take a gun out of someones hands and then get told by police a week later that it was not only fired once but twice and that both bullets were still in the chamber flat side by side and NOT ejected from a gun that never failed before I guess anyone would realise that guardian angels are real!
I do thank God everyday for this miracle
I never knew just what stress and anxiety could do and I did NOT know it could come out of nowhere and hit someone as strong as Corin

I hope no one has to go through this but it is good to know that through the kindness of strangers I am able to talk about it and start my healing as well

Words are not enough to show my gratitude for that! 

I have gotten a copy of the hospital report as proof as I do not want anyone thinking this is just a scam

Im so sorry for what your going through. i wish i was in a position to help (steppek-i understand how u feel but maybe was just better to not say anything?) if i could, i would send something.. im sure even the smallest amount would make a difference. if i was at all in a better place financially id at least send something =( ... will pray to angels for u

This isnt all about the money although that does help
I also want to get his story out there and let others know it can happen to anyone and you CAN get better with lots of love and support
So sharing the storing through facebook, twitter etc is just as helpful
