My new endeavor..... needs some fingers crossed :)

Hiya all,

I have been very fortunate to start and build a company over the years that was very successful and allowed my husband to retire at 42.

The ecomony hit and forced buyouts made me go from (lets say very wealthy) to (OMG, do I need to apply part time at McDonalds) to keep our home and some sort of normal lifestyle.

Anyway..... Since I work from home, I wanted to find something where I could continue to do so. 

A perfect opportunity fell in my lap.  I've know the new company owner since I was 16.  I am totally 'green' at what he does and he gave me the title of um.....'operations manager and director of sales'... ah...um... ok..... is that something I can 'wing it' or 'fake my way through'?!?!? 

I made  a first call today (someone who worked next door to me in 1996) and he remembered me.  Said timing was perfect and I think I just landed the biggest account in the new companies 25 year history.

Lunch meeting on Monday.. 

Would dearly appreciate fingers crossed for me.

I am soooo sooo excited for your new adventure and don't you worry about anything cause you will do just fine.

I remember how nervous I was when I first started working in here due to the lack of knowledge and the language barrier but I always know one thing...

I landed the deal. 

Better yet, maybe, the guy who is a real estate developer and doesn't purchase property under 100 million (yikes), is considering me taking over all of his accounts for billing/finance.
