My Pet Squirrel!

I have a pet squirrel the same little devil who had a peachy good time feasting on my tree! The cute little guy will come right up to the porch and take nuts. The other day i was sitting at the kitchen window and he spotted me and just stood there watching me so i threw some peanuts out the window at him.........



Do you have any stray friendly squirrels or animals in your neighborhood?

He's so cute. I always manage to find something to befriend. I bet he's burying all those nuts for winter. Silly little thing

I have a few squirrels that I give peanuts to and yep if they see me thru the window or the kitchen door they'll stare me down.I'm sure my neighbors love me

We did have some hawks that were cool too but the crows outnumbered them so they are gone until next year...at least I hope they will be back.

We also had a fox this spring that would go thru our yard but as far as feeding him,I passed on that one

I think I REALLY need a cat or a dog so my neighbors won't think I'm the crazy lady that feeds all the wildlife.;)

Who cares what they think Rosebud! Keep right on feeding those babies.

Very cute Lips.   I was watching a squirrel on Sunday bury something that was quite large and bright pink.  I have no idea what it was and I can't see it in the grass either.

My new best friend came to the window just a few minutes ago as i scrambled to go get the peanut jar! Nosy rosy Hazel had to see what all the commotion was about and ran to the window barking at him! Poor little pumpkin scrammed as fast as his little bushy tail would take him.

The other day i was at the store and came to a stop sign and two squirrels were running across the street when a car was coming and i was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOO as it they ran in front of this car. Would you believe one of the squirrels ran UNDER the car as it was moving and came out of that without even a scrape. Those darn things love to play Russian Roulette.

OMG that reminds me. I was driving home once and the car in front of me ran over a squirrel. I think I cried for an hour. It was awful. Thank GOD those two little ones got out from under the car unscathed. You watch them and they always seem to run into the street at the wrong time. They see a car and they're off running.
