    Hi LCB'ers,

    First off, my apologies for not being the fastest to respond to PMs.

    The main reason for this is that for the last two weeks I have been touring the USA ( Chicago, Seattle, Lake Sammammish ). I am currently in LA and going to Las Vegas on Friday.

    This is my 3rd time in the States, and Im loving every single moment of it. I am really looking forward to Las Vegas this weekend ( for the obvious reasons! ).

    I will be staying at Encore and hopefully this year I will not lose as much money as had lost last year.

    Anyways just wanted to give you a brief update of my whereabouts ( that is in the case that you havent noticed the USA flag next to my name yet tongue )

    Hi guys,

    thanks for all your posts and wishes. And yes I am still in LV and still alive ( just! ).  The lady luck was not on my side, but hey thats why they call it gambling right? laugh_out_loud  Been quite of a roller coaster ride  as my balance was up and down, and all around ( but you guessed it... mostly down  laugh_out_loud )

    I mostly played blackjack, 3 card poker and this relatively new game called Ultimate Texas Holdem .

    As I write these lines I am about to hit the tables again , so wish me some luck! 

    p.s.
    detailed report on my Vegas trip will follow in the next few days.

    Ok, so Boston was nice and then i went to NYC. I spent 3 nights here and right now i am on my way back home ( from JFK ).

    it has been a long and fun month in the States and i am looking forward to coming next year again. But now I am ready to go back home! smiley

    Las Vegas is out of this world ! I love it, and was my 3rd time here. No idea about the slots, I don't play them much. I play mostly tables.

    I am not sure what you are looking for from LV. I guess you can always go elsewhere ( and would prolly be cheaper too ), but if you are looking for more value for your money (hotel rooms, free drinks, shows, clubbing ) plus gambling and an insane selection of games, then it should be an easy choice to make.

                        I know when I went to Vegas in '94,'95, and '96  we always went in October.  It was actually
    very pleasant during the day,  got a little cool at night,  not bad though.  Zuga,  how was it in August?

    Was steaming hot bongo.. was over 105 F, and one day was 110F, and that was the least favorite thing about Vegas ( to me anyways )

                Well,  it is 'kinda 'sorta in the middle of a desert!!    I  always thought just the existence of that place was  incredible given the harsh environment.  They seemed to have done rather well considering.
