Here a couple is interviewed about a medical condition. The interviewer can not stop laughing at the sound of the guys voice.......he ended up losing his job after this show.

sorry to do it as when its done to me I no like, but this is staged although there are so many people who twist the truth its hard to know where to hand you hat. If you want the truth, I know my version is correct, although obviously you can make up your own mind.

In this isntance both interviewer and interviewee were in on it. Most of the crowd were also aware as they knew they were involved in a sketch show which is where this footgae is from (see below for explanation in bold). The best thing about this particular clip, apart froim it being based on an actual event, is that somehow some of the crowd, despite nbeing aware of the kind of show they were in the crowd for, took such offence to the absolutely fantastic acting/selling of the interviewer that things actually got quite heated and real about 60 seconds after this clip ends and the producers have to come and remind the now angry mob that its a scripted scene for a comedy show. Knowing that, the story of this clip is hilarious really as what is suppsed to be a re-enactment of an awkward moment in the past turns into a fabulously hilarious and, then awkward once again, moment in the present back in the early 2000's. Some things are best left alone, although Its a funny funny clip.

Watching again now, you have to give praise to the interviewer for such a successful job of selling it, and its about one or two minutes after this ends that the crowd start taking offence. There was a version out there that ran long enough to show the producers come out and calm things down but I saw it about seven years ago and I cannot find it now. It wouldn't suit the myth that this is the REAL clip of the ACTUAL event they re re-enacting so maybe it was taken down to enhance the pretence that this is the real deal.

That said, the first time I saw it I believed it to be real and I was in pieces,

Now, just to be sure, there are people who will argue this to death but this is a sketch from a comedy show prooduced and acted by a semi-famous Belgium comedien and it is based on a VERY REAL event in which pretty much EXACTLY what you see in this video DID indeed happen.

The real interviewer did indeed get sacked also, but the tape was destroyed out of respect for the so called victims of the interviewers helpless quasi mocking. They reshot it weeks later with the replacement interviewer and people snoozed.

FWIW the guy who got sacked in real life went on to be an excellent entertainer............On Radio. TV was over for him though. Funny Stuff.

Ya know what kap i believe ya. The reason is because as i watched this vid a zillion times there was always a little teeny part of me that said "this looks staged". Just the look on the guy's face that had the funny voice and zero reaction from the audience. But i thought if this was not true surely it would of leaked out by now.

Wow that is a mind blower and thank you so much for bringing me and everyone else up to speed on this. Geeez now it lost its humor didn't it

That first one is hilarious - from a professional reporter to a bad mouthed lunatic in a split second.  Just superb.

As for the 2nd one - when I originally saw that clip, I wondered for a split second if it was staged but I never gave it a second thought that it might be.  Thanks for the info kaptavius - the fact that it went wrong as a staged version is even more brilliant than what the original must have been like.
