Hiya Guys and Dolls,
I finally got the tree up last week and it smells so darn pretty with the pine. I always wanted a Griswold Christmas with tons and tons of lights and decorations outside but have yet to really get that mission accomplished. My biggest problem is not having enough outlets and they are stacked on top of one another and i end up blowing my lites.
Do you put up an artificial tree or a fake one and do you decorate outside?

A real tree.. we used to alternate, real then fake.. but we'd have to wait a whole'nother year for a real one.. it's just not christmas unless the smell of pine scents through the house, every single time i smell that aroma it always reminds and flashes images of the wonderful christmas' we had growing up, place it by the window or against wall.. the handle with care cracked and chipped bulbs that were never handled with care cuz the cat found it's new toy dangling off the tree (no no kitty) the arguements and frustrations of untangling the lights, crossing your fingers in hopes that the lights light, if not going through the whole strand to find the "bad" light.. which tree topper was going to be used, the famous Christmas tree lean (to the left or right this year) lol.. the Christmas Eve gifts of pajamas and 1 toy, the pine needles stuck in the feets and butts of our PJ's, the tree sap stripe on our arms and hands which was impossible to get off, the singin' of.. "all i want for christmas is my two front teeth".. the nights with mom with her bubblin champange glass and dad with his pipe and beer mug, cuddling listening to bing crosbys...
oooh christmas treeee ooooh christmas treeee..
a fake tree just doesn't give off the same memory..
