  • Hi Members,

Here is a  brainstorm of an idea that would not only make us happy campers to gamble on-line again.......but resolve our health care crisis.

Saturday, Oregon State Senator Ron Wyden came up with an amendment to Barney Franks bill. He purposed that revenue generated from on-line gambling could be used for health care. On-line gambling would generate 62.7 billion dollars over the next decade!!!

That would certainly generate alot of money for health care. If congress does not go or this proposal.........something is definitely wrong.

Where lies the priority of our government? Weighing in the factors....preventing US players to become gambling "addicts" or saving lives with health insurance.

The choice seems pretty simple to me......don't ya think?

  • IDOITS....that all I have to say about that!

  • well the problem lies in the states with river boat gambling. they lose a lot of business when we can staly home on smoke rather then go to a caisno and spend more money

  • I'm not sure that land casinos will ever really suffer at the hands of online casinos. There is millions of dollars being made from both. I have not heard of a land based casino folding yet.

  • I don't think land casinos would suffer at all. If I have a choice of going to a land casino or playing online I would go to the casino. Unfortunately I don't live close enough to a casino I can go to on a regular basis. The closest to me is in Tampa, a four hour drive for me or Biloxi an eight hour drive.

  • The reality is people are ALREADY gambling online...AND...still going to land casinos.  I have no doubt they will find a way to tax us, though.  Without question, Pres. Obama is going to tax the day lights out of us one way or another.
